Statutory Tournament Regulation

Zero-tolerance framework prohibiting racial slurs, derogatory chants, or discrimination on the basis of race, colour, or ethnic origin.

Codified Articles & Clauses

:

The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Tournament operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards racist behaviour by players, coaching staff, venue personnel, or spectators.

:

Any player uttering racist slurs or making offensive gestures will be immediately charged under Level 3 of the Code of Conduct, incurring an immediate minimum 4-match suspension.

:

Spectators engaging in racist chants, insults, or harassment will be immediately ejected from the stadium by venue security and handed over to local police authorities under relevant Indian Penal Code provisions.

:

Umpires possess the authority to pause match proceedings if crowd abuse persists, and instruct the ground announcer to issue formal public warnings before restarting.
